Unsheduled Outage 2

Or was it scheduled? Who knows. The site went down again last night, and stayed down all day today. My provider had a crypic message on their site saying they are replacing the disks that failed a few days ago.

Pingdom reports Darkgate was down this time for 22h 15m, almost as long as the first outage.

Surely it doesn’t take 22 hours to replace a few disks…

    I missed my Comics feed yesterday! I figured Something Bad(tm) had happened. At least you didnt lose data. On a related note, Thank you for your RSS scripts to pull the comics together in to a single feed. I *love* your site! There is no way I would be able to track down all these strips and pull them into my reader. It would be cool if you published some stats on how many people are using your generated feeds.. Thanks again for making the ‘Net a better place.
